Two little dickey birds sitting on the wall
one named Peter the other named Paul
fly away Peter fly away Paul
come back peter come back Paul.
But this is what we know, what we don't know
is that they came back with a wife, the nests
and lots of eggs.
Nice rosy eggs
ten for Peter and ten for Paul
when the birds broke the eggs
what happened then
other twenty beautiful dike birds sitting on the wall
some named Peter and others named Paul
fly away peters and fly away Pauls
but this time don't come back peters and
don't come back Pauls
at least not with wives!!!
